Hello, I am attorney Gregory Reynald Williams. I was born and raised in Bolivia, North Carolina and attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (“UNCG”). While at UNCG, I was a four year member of the Men’s Basketball Team receiving Most Improved Player honors and serving as a team captain. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1995.

After graduation, I pursued a career in the financial services industry working with Northwestern Mutual. The desire to own my own business led me to leave Northwestern and open Williams Financial, LLC. At Northwestern Mutual as well as Williams Financial, I focused on financial planning for individuals, families, and small businesses. This planning constantly showed the need for and the lack of estate planning being completed by even the most successful individuals. It also led me to my childhood dream of becoming an attorney!

Additionally, my love of basketball led me to become a referee after my playing career ended. Through that pursuit, I have worked as a referee at the high school, junior college, Men’s Divisions, I, II, and III, as well as the National Basketball Association Developmental League (NBDL). This experience has led me back to another passion of working with athletes and becoming The Athlete’s Advocate.

God has blessed me tremendously to be able to pursue my passion to become an attorney and serve those in need at the same time. The Lord has blessed me with a beautiful daughter, Jillian, who is my pride and joy! Praise God through whom all blessing flow.
